This is a Yamaha 50 hp High Thrust outboard boat motor. This motor has only 258 hours on it. This engine has the following features: 20" Shaft, power tilt and trim, Electronic Fuel Injection, 4-stroke, High Thrust Lower unit and prop, and remote starting. This engine is in very good shape and came off of a Pontoon boat. This engine has the High thrust lower unit which is a larger gear case designed to spin a large prop. This is for pontoon boats or heavy boats such as work barges. The ability to use a large prop allows this motor to have more torque for maneuverability and performance on heavy or wide displacment hulls. These engines also work great on smaller boats if you use a performance prop that has the correct pitch.Pontoon boats are ideal for this type of engine. We have fully boat tested this motor and it is ready to run.
