This is a great running Tohatsu 9.9hp long shaft outboard motor. Nissan/Tohatsu make one of the best running engines available. Based on our tests this motor has the power of a 15hp. We have had very good luck with the mechanics and dependability of Nissan and Tohatsu Outboards. They seem to hold up very well throughout the years and the have some of the best power to horsepower ratio. We have fully boat tested this engine and it runs perfect.
