This is a 5 hp Sea King which was made by Gale Outboards sold through Montgomery Wards. This engine uses the Evinrude and Johnson power head and components. Parts for this motor are interchangeable with Johnson and Evinrude 5-6hp outboards. This engine has only been used in freshwater and has very low hours on it. We have fully boat tested this motor and it runs excellent. This engine weighs 45lbs. This is a 2-stroke with short shaft and a manual start. This would make the perfect motor for a jon boat, skiff, sailboat, kicker, or any other vessel that handle a light-weight 2-stroke small outboard boat motor.
