This is a Nissan 40 hp Outboard Motor. This 40hp Nissan weighs around 130lbs, is a two-stroke, remote, short shaft "15 electric & manual start outboard. Compression on this motor is around 125psi even. This engine needs a lower unit. We are selling this motor for $595.00 to help compensate for the repairs needed. We did check out this engine and it runs strong but the lower unit seized and will need to be fixed or replaced. We have decided to wholesale the engine out to someone who can get it fixed.
