Very strong Mariner 9.9 hp 15" short shaft 2-stroke outboard motor. This motor is in mint condition with low freshwater hours. This Mariner was made by Mercury and is identical to the Mercury 9.9hp 2 stroke outboard. This is a manual start tiller model that weighs only 74 lbs. We have fully boat tested this engine and it runs great. This 9.9hp Mariner has low hours on it and was primarily used in freshwater. The motor starts and runs very good. The water pump is strong and the engine shifts into gear with no issues. The 15" Short Shaft makes motor a perfect outboard for a Boston Whaler type skiff, Big Jon Boat, Sailboat, Bass Boat, Gheenoe, Barge, Pontoon, Flats Skiff, large inflatable, or any other small water craft.
