This is a great running 115 hp Mariner outboard boat motor. This Mariner 115 is was made by Mercury Marine and is the same engine as the Mercury 115hp. This motor is a 2 stroke carbureted engine which idles on 2 cylinders to save on gas. It kicks into all 4 cylinders when the motor reaches plane speeds. Compression on this Mariner 115hp was very strong at about 125-130psi. This 115hp Mercury is set up for pre-mix as the oil injection was disconnected. This motor runs perfect and is ready to go. The 115 hp Mercury pushed a 17' Aquasport about 45-50 mph. These Mariners are bullet-proof and run very powerful. They are inline 4 cylinder engines with plenty of torque and top end.
