This is a 2006 Mercury 8hp Long Shaft 4 Stroke Outboard for Sale. This 8 hp mercury was used very little as an auxiliary outboard on a sailboat. This 8 hp Mercury only weighs 87lbs which is comparable to 2 stroke outboards in the 8-15hp class. This outboard is a manual start, tiller, 20" shaft, 4 stroke, that runs perfect. We have fully boat tested this motor and it is ready to go. Being that this is a 2006 model there is still some original factory warranty left. This would make a perfect outboard to use as a kicker on your fishing skiff or sailboat. This would also make a great engine for lakes that are 10hp and below.
