This is a 30 hp Mercury 2-stroke outboard boat motor. This 30 hp only weighs 150lbs and has a 20" long shaft. We have fully boat tested this engine and it is ready to go. This motor would be ideal for a small whaler type boat or jon boat. 2-stroke 30 hp outboards are very desirable because they weigh less than 4-strokes and they have strong torque. This motor has power tilt and trim as well as oil injection. The compression on this motor is very good at about 125psi even. This would make a great boat for the following: 13ft Boston Whaler, Mckee Craft, large inflatable, large aluminum jon boat, flats boat, Carolina Skiff type boats or any other vessel that can handle a 150lbs. 30 hp outboad.
