This is a 2-stroke 20 hp Mercury outboard boat motor. This motor has both an electric start and manual starter. This engine only weighs 115lbs and runs great. We have fully boat tested this 20 hp Mercury and it runs excellent. The gear shifter is built into the tiller handle. 2-stroke 20-25 hp Mercury outboards are getting very hard to find. These are some of the best engines Mercury has ever made. They have a very good track history and have become very desirable due to the power-to-weight ratio. This would make an ideal outboard for the following: jon boat, gheenoe, boston whaler, carolina skiff, inflatable, duck boat, fishing boat, flats boat, or any vessel that can handle a 2-stroke 115lbs 20 hp outboard boat motor.
