This is great running 4hp Johnson Outboard Motor. This 4 hp Johnson has been primarily used in freshwater. This motor has full gear shift, manual start, and is set up for tiller. This motor has a 15" short shaft. We have boat tested 1000's of engines and these OMC 4 hp models are equal to many 5 and 6 hp outboards. We have fully boat tested this 4hp Johnson outboard engine and it performs excellent. This engine weighs around 40lbs and has 2 cylinders which provides smooth operation.
