This is a great running 35 hp Johnson Outboard. We have fully boat tested this motor and it runs like a dream! This is the perfect engine for your 13ft Boston Whaler Skiff. This 35hp Johnson has a standard shaft "15, electric start , two-stroke, weighs 115lbs, and is a remote model. This engine starts very quickly, has strong compression 120/125 PSI (almost factory!) on both Cylinders, pumps water excellent, and shifts into gear smoothly. This Johnson has been repainted white by the original owner. This motor has the steering arm, wiring harness with key start, throttle cables, shift cables, and a control box. If you are in the market for a 20-40 hp this is a great selection for you. The Johnson 35 hp weighs the same as the Johnson 20 hp so it will be suitable for most boating applications that can handle these horse power ranges.
Why these are great motors? Because you are able to have a motor that is capable of running a small inflatable or a large pontoon boat. The diversity this motor brings are attributed to the fact that there is an exceptional amount of power to weight ratio achieved. For a 115 lbs. 35hp outboard motor, you can do it all and not weigh your boat down or break your back if you need to transport it. This would make a perfect outboard for a Boston Whaler type skiff, Commercial Work Skiff, Mullet Boat, John Boat, Sailboat, Bass Boat, Gheenoe, Portable Boat, Pontoon, Flats Skiff, large inflatable, or any other small water craft.
