This is a 1967 40hp Johnson outboard short shaft in great running condition fully restored with a dupont paint job. This 40 hp Johnson was used in freshwater and runs great. We have fully gone through this engine and it runs excellent. This is a 15" shaft, electric and pull start, fuel pump, remote model but has the capabilities to convert to a tiller. This motor only weighs 135lbs, the weight of the average 25 hp today. If you are in the market for a 25-40hp outboard this is the motor! This is a 2 stroke, 2 cylinder outboard with forward-Neutral-Reverse.
