This is a 25 hp Johnson 1996 electric start outboard. This engine has many hours on it and the compression is 75psi even. This is a little lower than what we like to see so we are wholesaling the motor out. We did boat test the engine on our 14ft fiberglass boat and it ran good. The engine has been mostly used in freshwater. Because of the compression being lower than what we like we are selling this at a discounted price. This would make a great parts motor or an engine to tear down and refurbish. This engine has an electric start, it is a short shaft, and is a 2 stroke. This motor is tiller controls.
