These are twin 140 hp Johnson V4 Looper Outboard motors. Both motors are Right Hand Rotation and can be used individually. We will separate them. This motors have all been serviced and tuned up in May of 2005. They both have excellent compression and run great. These 140 hp Johnsons have an extra long shaft 25". They are the looper big block models which are pretty close to the power output of some V6 engines. The overall condition is pretty good with some minor corrosion but on the trim units. The original owner took good care of the engines and sprayed lithium grease on all of the power head bolts. The blocks are very clean on these engines. The lower unit oil was in very clean on these engines as well. The motors have been fully checked out and everything is in working order. These are a great deal for someone looking to get on the water for less than $5000. Brand new 140hp twins cost around 15-20k. These older carbureted engines are getting more and more popular as they become harder to find. Boaters like them mainly because they are very inexpensive to maintain. Newer fuel injected motors are very expensive when repairs are needed. These twin 140 hp Johnsons come complete with Top Mounted Binnical controls, Wiring harness, cables, props, oil tanks, owner/shop manual, and some spare parts. Spare parts include a new rectifier, used power packs, and 4 new carburetor kits. These Johnson 140 hp Outboards will work great as an Open Fisherman, Cruiser, Offshore boat, Bay Boat, Aqua Sport, Well craft, Hydro Sport, Flats Boat, Race boat. Etc.
