This is a nice running Honda 5 hp 4-Stroke (4 Cycle) outboard. This 5 hp Honda is in excellent condition except for the cowling that is cracked. There is damage to the plastic cowling which we are trying to replace. If you are interested in taking the motor and fixing or replacing the cowling yourself we will discount it $35.00. The engine has no damage and runs perfect. This outboard is ready to go! This engine is very quiet and runs excellent. Compression is perfect on this motor and it shifts into gear smoothly. These are very popular engines because they are reliable and very quiet. The EPA is mandating that all manufacturers produce outboard motors to pass emissions in 2006 and must conform to the specifications that this motor achieves. This motor will be accepted on most bodies of water and will provide many years of great usage. This is the right motor for any small boat utilizing a 5-15hp outboard. Boat Tested! Runs Excellent!
