This is a 2 stroke 40 hp short shaft jet outboard in perfect running condition. This motor came from Oklahoma and has only been used in freshwater. It has a shock assist tilt on the motor which makes it a breeze to tilt the engine up. According to the owner trading the motor in this outboard has about 10-30 hours on it. It was used on a Duck Hunt boat on a lake. This outboard has a Jet lower unit. This lower unit is designed to make boats travel in very shallow water. This is the Ideal outboard for anyone looking to duck hunt in low line rivers.
