This is a beautiful 4.5 hp (with the power of a 5 hp outboard) from Mercury Marine Outboards. This engine has Forward-Neutral-Reverse, Thru-Prop Hub Exhaust, and tons of power for a small outboard motor. Since this motor is from an era when quality and craftsmanship were what separated brands this motor is destine to have many more years or usage. The water pump works excellent the motor shifts into all three gears and the engine has great compression.
