Great Motor at a great price! This outboard was fully boat tested today December 21, 2002. We received a free boat with this motor and took it straight to the boat ramp. This engine was test run for over 1 hour at all speeds and it performed perfect! We were amazed at how fast it pushed a 16ft Aluminum Jon Boat! This engine only weighs 140lbs so it will work with most of your small and large boats! It is a short shaft 15" which are very hard to find! This motor also has all the controls for remote settings or you can set it up for tiller. This motor is ready to go! Great Compression. This is an electric start with a charging system but has a feature we think all motors should have, a pull starter as well. This engine is a premix motor 50:1. It will be hard to find a Mercury 35hp with controls for under $1000.00 that is READY TO GO. This is a perfect motor for a Boston Whaler, Bass Skiff, Pontoon Boat, Carolina Skiff, Flats Boat, House Boat, Inflatable, or any small to midsize watercraft.
