These are brand new in box. 2.5hp Mercury 4 Stroke outboard motors for sale. These 2.5hp Mercury are 4 stroke, short shaft, water cooled, tiller driven and weigh 38lbs. These 2.5hp Mercurys have forward and neutral gear as well as twist grip throttle. Since the motor is water cooled the noise factor is not as severe as some of the other 2hp 4 strokes from other brands. These are nice features as it makes boating very practical. Being that they are light weight and 4 stroke they will work on almost any small boat. This motors come with a 3 year Mercury Outboard factory warranty. We have these available in 15" short shaft. The 2.5 hp Mercury is ideal for any small inflatable, canoe, skiff, jon boat, tender, small sailboat, or any boat that is rated for a 2.5hp outboard.
