This is a fully restored vintage 40 hp Mercury Outboard Motor ! This is an electric and manual start remote outboard motor. This engine is from the late 1950's-60's. This 40hp Mercury has a short shaft 15". We fully restored this 40hp Mercury Mark 35A with a dupont paint job and we polished the chrome and brass prop. Our Mechanics serviced the engine and made sure that the motor is ready to go mechanically. This motor has 4 cylinders which makes the engine run very smooth and balanced. Vintage Mercury outboards are in very high demand. They make great powerhouses for restored and antique watercrafts.
