This is a 2-stroke 25 hp Mercury outboard boat motor set up for remote. This 25 hp Mercury weighs 114lbs which makes it ideal for most small boats. This 25 hp Mercury has a 15" short shaft. We have fully boat tested this motor and it runs excellent. Compression is very strong at over 115psi even. This 25 hp Mercury has an electric starter and a pull starter. These are great motors for small whaler type skiffs. 2-Stroke 25 hp outboards are no longer being made so the demand for a light weight motor has increased. It is difficult to find a 25 hp motor made in the 2000's in the used market. This would be an ideal motor for: Boston Whalers, Gheenoes, Jon Boats, Small inflatable, or any boat that can handle a 15" 2-stroke 25hp remote outboard.
