This is an 8 hp Yamaha 4-stroke outboard boat motor. This 8 hp Yamaha has the following features: Power Tilt, Electric Start, Charging System, Remote Set up, 20" long shaft, and a High Thrust lower unit. This is the perfect engine to use as a back up or kicker for a sailboat. This engine is unique in that it has power tilt which is usually found on larger engines 40 hp and up. This 8 hp Yamaha was used only in freshwater and has very low hours on it. It came from Illinois. This outboard weighs about 100lbs which makes it light enough for most kicker applications.
