This is 40hp Yamaha 2-Stroke 20" shaft motor. This motor has strong compression and runs good. We have boat tested this motor. This engine has an electric start and is set up to use remote controls. This 40 hp Yamaha also has power tilt and trim. The weight of this engine is around 187lbs. These are very desirable due to the power to weight ratio that this motor has. This would be an ideal motor for a boston whaler, carolina skiff, inflatable, aluminum boat, or any vessel that can handle a 2-stroke 40 hp outboard boat motor.
