Very Light Weight, only 79lbs. This is a 2-stroke, tiller, Manual start 18 hp Nissan Outboard Motor. This engine is a 15" short shaft. Nissan makes one of the better outboard engines and is known for their reliability. This 18 hp Nissan shifts into gear, has great compression, and idles well. . We have fully boat tested this motor and it runs perfect. The 18 hp Nissan has the power of some 25 hp outboards that we have tested. We were able to get 23mph on a 14ft Fiberglass skiff.
