This is a 2006 9.9hp Mercury 4-Stroke Short Shaft Outboard. This motor has low hours on it and runs excellent. We have fully boat tested this engine and It is ready to go. This 9.9hp Mercury 4 stroke has only been used in freshwater. This is the model where the gear shifter is built into the tiller. This 9.9 hp Mercury has a 15" short shaft, tiller, manual start, and it runs perfect. You will love how quiet these 8 hp 4 stroke outboards will troll and idle. These are great kicker outboards as they are very conservative on fuel. This is a great motor for any small watercraft that can handle an 85lb 4 stroke 8hp outboard.
