This is an 80 hp Mercury Outboard Motor. Weight is around 275lbs. This engine is an Inline 3 cylinder outboard with power tilt and trim . This 80 hp Mercury has a 20" shaft and is a two stroke. We have fully checked the engine out. The motor has perfect spark on all 3 cylinders. Compression was even at around 120psi on all 3 cylinders. The lower unit checks out great under load and has good seals/pressure. Cosmetically the cowlings are pretty ugly but overall the engine is clean. The previous owner traded this engine in on a smaller motor. Before trading the engine the previous owner had this motor fully serviced with new motor mounts. This would make a great outboard for a pontoon boat, flats boat, jon boat, duck boat, bass boat, or any other water craft that can handle an 80 hp engine.
