This is a 90 hp Johnson outboard boat motor. This 2-stroke 90 hp Johnson has power tilt and trim and a stainless steel prop. The shaft length on this motor is 20" which is considered long but standard for outboards over 40hp. This 90 hp Johnson is in very good running condition and is complete and ready to install. We have fully boat tested this engine and it runs perfectly. Compression on this engine is around 120psi even. That is very close to factory specs. We have a complete set of controls we can sell with this engine for $100.00. This engine pushes an 18 ft Carolina Skiff 35-40 mph. This is the perfect outboard motor for someone who is looking to get on the water inexpensively. The Johnson 90 hp will work great as a bass boat engine( short shaft model), Open Fisherman, Cruiser, Offshore boat, Bay Boat, Aqua Sport, Well craft, Hydra Sport, Flats Boat, Race boat. Etc. This is the V-4 model which is the same power head as most Johnson/Evinrude, 90 hp, 110 hp, and 115, hp 4 cylinder engines. Parts are very easy to find and inexpensive since these are some of the most popular motors around. We see a lot of these motors still running strong. The 2 stroke v4 cross-flow OMC outboards were very simple and reliable engines.
