This is a 60 hp Johnson outboard boat motor. Weight of this engine is less than 240lbs so it will work with most boats that can handle a 3 cylinder engine. This motor is a 2 stroke. This engine was primarily used in freshwater and runs great. We have fully boat tested this motor and it runs excellent. Compression on this motor is even on all 3 cylinders at around 150-155psi. This 60 hp Johnson has power tilt and trim, all the controls, cables, wiring harness, and a prop. The Johnson 60 hp will work great as a bass boat engine(20"shaft model), Open Fisherman, Cruiser, Offshore boat, Bay Boat, Aqua Sport, Well craft, Hydra Sport, Flats Boat, Race boat. Etc. This is the 3 cylinder model which is the same power head as most Johnson/Evinrude, 70 hp engines. Parts are very easy to find and inexpensive since these are some of the most popular motors around.
