This is a great running 1956 15 hp Johnson Outboard boat motor. This 15 hp Johnson has a fuel pump so it will work with modern gas tanks. This motor has been fully boat tested and it runs perfectly. 1 year ago we restored this engine with a custom dupont paint bronze color. This engine was traded back to us. It is still very easy to find parts at local salvage yards or online. These engines are very common and are very accessible to repairs, parts, and service. It is a 2 cylinder, 2 stroke, manual start, short shaft (15 inches) tiller style outboard boat motor. This motor is light weight at about 75 lbs. 15 hp Johnson outboard boat motors are ideal for any small 12-14 ft fishing boat. These motors have been heralded as bullet proof as they have gained the reputation of being very reliable.
