This is a
great running and fully restored 1957 18 hp Johnson Outboard. This engine
has been professionally restored with a dupont paint job. The restoration
process came out very well because the motor was very clean and in good
freshwater condition. This is a standard shaft "15, electric and
manual start , two-stroke, 80lbs, tiller outboard. Our mechanics have
fully serviced this engine. This motor has an electric starter and we
have a rare wiring harness we can sell seperatly with the motor. The 1950's
Johnson/Evinrude outboards were made very well. They seem to hold up mechanically
over the years. This motor is in excellent running
condition and will fully plane a small fishing boat. This engine starts
very quickly, has strong compression on both Cylinders, pumps water excellent,
and shifts into gear smoothly. We have boat tested this motor and it runs
excellent .
