This is a 1996 Johnson 150 hp Ocean Pro 25" 2-Stroke Outboard Boat motor. This engine has only 73 hours of run time. The boat it was rotted out so the engine was removed. This engine has been sitting for a long period of time before we obtained it. We checked the compression and it is perfect on all 6 cylinders. We started and ran the engine and it sounds great and runs strong. We did not serviced this engine therefore it should be completely serviced with a new water pump. We are pricing this engine at $3500.00 to allow for some room to get this engine ready for this upcoming boating season. All of which is routine service. Anytime an outboard sits for a long period of time it is wise to clean the carburetor, change the thermostats, and put in a new water pump. We did check the engine over and we did run the motor and it is sounds excellent. The lower unit had perfect oil and the power tilt and trim worked great. The power head has a strong sound to it. This is a rare opportunity to own a 2-stroke 60 degree carbureted v6 Johnson outboard with very little run time. Please review the photos and video of this engine.
