We have fully boat tested this 9.9hp Evinrude and it runs perfectly. These are by far the most versatile and popular outboard motors around. They are very easy to work on, very easy to find parts for, and very easy to modify or covert to meet any boaters needs (ex: long shaft and remote conversion).
