This is a 70 hp Evinrude (OMC) outboard boat motor. This motor has been fully serviced and rebuilt by our mechanics.This engine has 3 new pistons, rods, a new water pump, power pack , and gear lube. The tilt and trim unit is newer and was replaced recently. We have fully boat tested this engine and have put 5 hours of boat run/break-in time on it since the rebuild (1st hour was idle hours 2-5 were less than 3/4 throttle all at 25:1 gas oil mixture). This engine only needs 5 more hours of break-in time. Weight of this engine is less than 240lbs so it will work with most boats that can handle a 3 cylinder engine. This motor is a 2 stroke. Compression on this motor is even on all 3 cylinders. This 70 hp Evinrude has power tilt and trim and a stainless steel prop. The Evinrude 70 hp will work great as a bass boat engine(20"shaft model), Open Fisherman, Cruiser, Offshore boat, Bay Boat, Aqua Sport, Well craft, Hydra Sport, Flats Boat, Race boat. Etc. This is the 3 cylinder model which is the same power head as most Johnson/Evinrude, 60-75 hp engines. Parts are very easy to find and inexpensive since these are some of the most popular motors around.
