This is a 5.5hp Evinrude Outboard Motor that adapts to a modern gas tank (fuel pump). This is a 2-stroke, twin cylinder, twist grip throttle, outboard motor with forward, neutral, and reverse. The inside of this motor is clean and looks as good as newer motors. We have fully boat tested this motor and it runs perfect. Our mechanics have fully rebuilt this engine. It has also been seaonally serviced so that it is ready to run. This engine only weighs 55lbs .This engine starts, runs, idles, accelerates, and performs perfect! This motor was used in freshwater only and has been very well taken care of. We were very impressed on how clean and strong this motor ran. We have many customers who prefer older motors such as this because they are very smooth running engines that, if taken care of, will run forever.
